This time when I visited Kolkata in March, I had the wonderful experience of meeting Aakash Kundu. A bright, energetic boy of 17, Aakash is a 12th grader, getting ready for his board exams.

I was amazed with his quick, inquisitive mind. He talked at length about how he wants to become a Computer Engineer. He even knows that he wants to specialize in: Computational Linguistics. His razor-sharp focus, and defined career path, made me realize how serious the boy is about his future.

Aakash is a student who is currently being helped by Medha Sponsor(s). I wish him all the success in his endeavors. His enthusiasm makes me hopeful about other impoverished students, who with a little assistance, can go a long way in their lives.
