In 2018, MedhaUSA announced the launch of its new scholarship program. This program adds an exciting new dimension to our support initiatives. In addition to broad based support to our beneficiary organizations, we are focusing on individual students who have the merit but lack the finances to pursue higher education.  Our goal is to create ladders of opportunity within the organizations we already support to allow a deserving student to reach his or her full academic potential.  With the assurance of funds for 3-4 years, we can promise a rising high school freshman or a meritorious college bound student some precious extra resources for books, tuition fees and housing. As always, MedhaUSA members take extreme care and diligence to develop these profiles for potential scholarship recipients.  In addition to students in India,  in 2019, we approached the Trenton school district in NJ and sponsored two scholarship awards  to academically gifted but financially strapped college bound seniors.
