BSS-Pranab Kanya Sangha

Pranab Kanya Sangha which is affiliated to Bharat Sevashram Sangha, was founded in 2000 in the Howrah district of Kolkata, serving the poorest women of society. Pranab Kanya Sangha began its journey by offering shelter to rural and poor women and girls following the devastating floods in the Sunderbans in 2001. As the organization grew, Pranab Kanya Sangha also started providing educational and vocational training to girls. The organization has now established new homes in Salt Lake and other parts of Kolkata. Its goal is to integrate displaced girls and young women into the mainstream of society.
