Your support for Medha allows us to support schools like Udbhas .
Medha partner Malini Banerjee visited Udbhas this week . The kids won her heart ! Malini also reports that she was very impressed by the dedication of the teachers and staff at the school .
Udbhash does not only help their students during their K-12 journey; Udbhash supports students with college tuition and takes care of their day-to-day needs when they are adults (e.g., need for a mobile phone or a bike for transportation).

Our Medha coordinator Poushali Mukherjee visited our beneficiary Udbhas - a registered voluntary welfare organization working for over 25 years in slum areas around Calcutta, serving underprivileged children. Udbhas works with over 100 children and now, with your support, Medha has been supporting the formal tutorial center and helping many students move on. Here are some photos from her visit.
Udbhas is a registered voluntary welfare organization working for over 25 years in slum areas around Calcutta, serving underprivileged children. Udbhas aims to improve the socio economic condition of underprivileged children by promoting literacy and self-reliance. Udbhas works with over 100 children running classes in the parking garage of an office building in South Kolkata. Udbhas aims to find a permanent location to hold classes.
Udbhas now has a formal tutorial center and MedhaUSA’s funds help running the school.
